Clinical supervision

The process of becoming a licensed professional can be tedious and confusing. Anna has the knowledge and understanding to help others through that process and is excited to assist other professionals in reaching this career goal. Please contact her to discuss your interest in becoming a licensed professional.

Anna earned her Master’s in Social Work degree from the University of Pittsburgh in April of 2002. She passed her licensure exam in 2005 and practiced as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) from that point until she completed her required supervision hours and passed the clinical license board exam (LCSW) in January of 2012. Both of Anna’s professional licensures were awarded by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors (The Board).

The Board requires those who provide clinical supervision to Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors to “hold a license and have at least a master’s degree in a related field and have at least 5 years of experience within the last 10 years in that field (Section 48.3(2))”.* Since earning her master's degree in 2002, Anna has almost 11 years of experience in the human services field, including being a clinical supervisor of residential treatment facilities for adolescents with chronic mental health issues for 5 of those 11 years.
